I help women find their own way to become happy and content through a healthy lifestyle without obsessing about food or exercise.

I have this amazing room I call ‘my room’ - I’ve got it all set up and organised with my yoga mat, bolster, my tv so I can follow along with my favourite yoga videos.

I’ve got a Himalayan salt lamp, beautiful lanterns and cushions.

Candles and an essential oil diffuser with my favourite oils.

I’ll start using it soon.
.
.
.
.
.
No, I haven’t used it yet.
.
.
.
I’ll start getting into it this weekend.

I’ll start this Monday night after work.

Does this sounds familiar?

How often do you procrastinate on the stuff that is purely for YOU?
The beautiful things that will light you up, fill you up, replenish your body and soul?

It’s one of those really deeply ingrained habits for so many of us.

The ‘it’s something to look forward to’ but ends up being the dangling carrot that never gets delivered.
And the crazy thing is that you’re doing to yourself.

Why?
Because there’s a deeply imbedded belief deep down that’s telling you you’re not worthy.
Just do one more thing, achieve one more thing, do something for someone else…then you might deserve it.

It might seem far-fetched but it’s not.

Otherwise, wouldn’t you have already done it?

You’re smart enough. You work incredibly hard and you uphold all of your commitments to everyone else; so why not to yourself?
Because of that unconscious belief.
If you knew how to fix it, change it - you would have!
There is no doubt about that.

If you know you need to change, but just can’t do it - let me help you let go of what’s keeping you at the bottom of your to-do list.

Let’s say this 45 year old woman wants to lose 7 Let’s say this 45 year old woman wants to lose 7kg.

She feels she ‘needs to get her butt into gear’ and get motivated and the best way that works for her is to get exercising.

She does three full-body workouts per week and two 1-hour walks week, for one month.
(Prior to that she would do a couple of walks per week)

She loses 1.5kg in that month.

She definitely feels stronger and fitter and knows she’s in a better frame of mind.
But - she’s frustrated she hasn’t lost more weight, despite all her efforts. What’s going on?!
7kg seems a long way off…

She decides to pause the exercise and focus on her nutrition.

She keeps up with her walking regime but changes it to four 30min walks per week - easy.

She follows my 14 day elimination protocol.

By day 3 she has lost 3.6kg. That’s not fat - that’s fluid - in other words, inflammation.

Her system is calming down now that she’s not putting aggravating foods in her body.

She’s feeling more relaxed, more calm - and she’s sleeping through the night - for the first time in what seems like forever.

That’s a huge loss in a short period, which then slows down, but 7kg is gone in 30 days.
One month.

She has less aches and pains.

Less food cravings.

She learns what foods just don’t work for her. And what really fuels her body.
What she’ll have occasionally, not write off as ‘never’.

This is not through deprivation or calorie restriction. It’s a strategic plan to allow her body to heal.

Learning to be kind and compassionate to her body is something she will keep forever, not just as a fad diet or exercise programme.

If you are ready to let go of your excess baggage physically and holistically - you can start today.

I have just over a week before I turn 50. Haha I s I have just over a week before I turn 50.
Haha I still feel like I’m about 20 in many ways.
I think it’s funny how I’ve gone through lots of big life experiences and still think sometimes ‘But am I really an adult though?’

(Comment below if this is you too😉)

I’m glad I feel like that.

Having lived and worked in four countries, married twice, owned 3 businesses, travelled much of the world for both work and pleasure….rode the ups and downs of ‘making my life harder than it needs to be’ (some closest to me have said) it has all lead me to here.

Back to my roots.
My family who I love dearly.
My Langdon who has taught me more life lessons than I could ever have learned on my own, and most importantly how to love and be loved.

I love the path I am travelling and look forward to so much more breadth in my life; more living in my life.

I am incredibly grateful for all of you in my life and I love sharing what I am learning as I go, it’s what lights me up. What is healing me and helping me grow, I share with you.

I’ll keep being me, more wrinkles and whatever else more years on Mother Earth brings.
What you see is what you get, whether it’s me in a hoodie in the studio at 6.30am, dancing with the lights off in aerobics, or ducking back in from hanging my washing on the line.
You’ll find on Insta I’m just the same.

Here’s to being ourselves, not a number ☺️

Today I did the icky job of cleaning out the green Today I did the icky job of cleaning out the green bins….they were pretty smelly 😫

Thinking about what had been in there, it was just organic matter.
I used the jet spray of the hose to clean out the bottom bit and there was a layer that had just compacted and become like glue…it took a while for the spray to loosen it, break it up and then wash it away.

All harmless stuff.
But boy did it stink.
It was slimy and a bit gross.

And as things do often happen in my head, it reminded me of how this kinda happens in our body.

We can eat amazing, healthy, organic food; heaps of greens, lots of fruit and veg, live a healthy lifestyle…..and still be a bit icky on the inside.

Now I’m certainly not saying you need a jet hose treatment on the inside 😳😂🤯

But perhaps there’s some other stuff going on that’s making your body an environment that’s not working as well as it should.

Do you feel a bit crap - that you feel crap? No energy - despite being healthy?

If you feel like you’re doing all the right things….but you’re STILL not -
….losing any weight
…able to survive without coffee
…getting rid of that stiffness and pain when you wake up in the mornings
…able to do the things you used to love doing
…able to go shopping for some nice clothes or jeans, or dare I say it lingerie or swimwear…or new jeans?

What if no amount of organic healthy food will fix that ‘compacted yuck stuff’ that’s stuck at the bottom of your metaphorical green bin?

My approach is completely holistic.
We dive deep into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual layers to find out what’s compacted that ‘stuff’ deep inside.
And if you’ve tried every diet, every cleanse, every skinny pill….well this is different.
What you do with me is different to what I do with any other client.

Take a deep breath and know it’s ok to simply and wholly be you.
That’s the first step.

If you’re ready to take the next step, you can book a free 20 minute discovery call so we can find out if we are the right fit, you can book here right now:

Are you telling yourself something is going to be Are you telling yourself something is going to be scary, so that you don’t do it?

I know some women have found it daunting, perhaps even a bit scary - to visit me in my studio.

Not for any particular reason.

I know that feeling.

The anticipation of going into a new place, perhaps one that really takes me out of my comfort zone, can be a bit nerve-wracking.

What if I look like an idiot?
What if I stand out and everyone is looking at me?
What if I embarrass myself?
What if I’m out of my depth?
What if I just want to leave?

3 weeks ago a new client came for her first visit in one of my small group sessions.

Her friends had tried to convince her to come, for literally - years.

At the end of the session she laughed and said ~
“I don’t know why I didn’t come sooner, I was so scared and I didn’t need to be at all! That was so much better than I had made it out in my head to be! Thank you.”

And she’s been regularly ever since.

Is it time to shift from a short-term focus to lon Is it time to shift from a short-term focus to long-term contentment?

It can be too easy to slip into an unconscious habit of everything we ‘really want’ being out of reach so why even bother.

It is possible though.
Sometimes - actually very often - you just need some guidance and support to get you focusing on the long-term.
Knowing your own body - especially your own cycle Knowing your own body - especially your own cycle - is like knowing when you get paid.

(If you get paid every month, this will probably be easier to relate - but stick with me here)

Imagine you didn’t know when you’re going to get paid.
“Noooooo!”
(When you try to buy something and the transaction is declined)

A bit like when you get your period and it’s unexpected - when you’re not really aware of your cycle.

In this instance, paying more attention, investing in your finances - and in your awareness of your cycle, your symptoms like migraines, PMS, pain and anything else that you experience - is the key to really having more control, both in the short and long term.
Plus piece of mind.
Knowing how to ride the ups and downs and not getting bogged down into depths of despair, overwhelm, uncertainty and negativity.

And there is one more point I really want to share with you -
every single period (menstruation) is a deposit into your health bank account.

If you take a form of birth control pill where you don’t get periods - this is robbing you of a key part of your health.

Do you feel like you’re ‘winging it’ when it comes to your period and cycle?
Do you feel disconnected from your cycle?
Have you been on a pill for so long you can’t remember the last time you had a period - and perhaps hate the thought of ever having to have one again?
Or maybe you’re going through peri-menopause so your cycle seems all over the place?
Or you’re post-menopausal so you no longer have periods? (You can still track your ‘cycle’ - you still produce sex hormones so there will still be fluctuations in your moods, sex drive and in many other ways).

If this resonates with you and would like to get connected with yourself, start tracking what’s going on so that you have a better relationship with your body so that you enjoy your life more - and feel more in control - let’s talk.
You can book a 20min free consult with me via my website, or simply DM me.

All the colours, lots of textures, amazing flavour All the colours, lots of textures, amazing flavours! 💗

I’m learning more about ‘digestion’ at the moment ~
how it’s not just how we break down and utilise the food we eat;
it’s also what we take in and absorb into ourselves as a whole.

How we receive things, and what we do with them; do we process them, eliminate what we don’t need, or do they get ‘stuck’?
How do we respond to what we absorb - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually?

What we listen to.
What we watch.
How we listen.
How we receive.
How (and what) we eat.
Are we calm?
Are we rushed?
Are we erratic?
Do we push what we really need - away?
And only receive what’s not beneficial for us?

I’m really excited to be learning this different approach and know this will help not only myself but also my clients too.

Testimonials...

I have trained with Cristie for nearly 18 months now, and have achieved amazing results with not only my weight but my fitness and general health. I’ve lost 22kgs to date and I am still losing weight and toning. Cristie tailors every workout to my specific goals and skills, which makes it interesting and fun, and never unachievable – I’m always guaranteed a thorough and fantastic workout. Most of all, Cristie supports me not only during my session to achieve my goals, but supports me through ongoing follow ups to help me stay motivated and interested, and demonstrates that she genuinely cares about me and my outcomes. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to anyone who wants help to achieve their goals as well as a positive, fit and fun lifestyle.
Saskia
I first met Cristie over 7 years ago when I was single. I was looking to increase my fitness and manage the stress my life was going through at the time. Cristie really listened and tailored our sessions to what i needed. Her holistic approach to health means her sessions have not only been customised to me physically (I'm not the most athletic and burpies and i are not friends) but she has also impeccable knowledge and advice about health and nutrition in general. As my life changed, Cristie helped me work towards different goals. This ended up being losing a few kgs for my wedding- my now husband even came along to our sessions. And, in time I even continued right up to 8 months pregnant obviously with yet another different type of session. Now as a busy mum i have re-engaged with Cristie to get me back focusing on my fitness.

I have had poor posture all my life. I was thrilled to find Cristie, she is the only person I have found that has made a difference. I find my sessions with her are so much more than, just exercises! She has a wealth of knowledge that extends well beyond the physical, including mental health and general wellbeing, as well as nutrition. Thank you, Cristie.
S. Reinke
Cristie's extensive knowledge on fitness, inner health and wellbeing assisted me to reach my health and weight goals. She is flexible, fun, motivating and full of life which made my personal training sessions both enjoyable and rewarding. I am so grateful to have had Cristie as my trainer.
Annalyse
Hi Cristie - It has been great having you during my pregnancy! Being active with your encouragement I managed to have normal size of baby and also my body shaped back to normal within a few weeks!
Minka
Cristie has improved our health and fitness immensely. She is motivating, caters to our individual needs and inspires us to eat nutritional foods and exercise regularly. Tony has lost 15 kilos in the past six months and feels great.
Karen & Tony
Cristie is a very motivating Personal Trainer and I look forward to our weekly sessions to see what she has in store for me. She make the sessions fun, interesting and with lots of variety. She is also a very caring person and interested in her clients health, wellbeing and life in general. I would certainly recommend her.
Annette
I've always struggled with my weight for the majority of my life & have followed many diet & exercise plans ranging from weight watchers, optifast, herbalife, sureslim, Jenny Craig as well as seeing two dietitians & a diabetes specialist all of which provided small & short term results whilst dramatically decreasing my self-esteem & confidence. I have always been active & began to get frustrated & feel demotivated when I couldn't see any results from the effort I put in at the gym. Cristie helped me to understand how to eat well & treat & nourish my body so I can perform well at the gym to achieve the results I craved. She is a wealth of information & knowledge & there's always a well thought out reason for doing a particular exercise. Cristie is concerned about my success & goes above & beyond, she is not afraid to share her own experiences to provide a perspective on how one can overcome different road blocks. I'm so grateful that I've been lucky enough to work with Cristie.
S.K.
Cristie has been my personal trainer for approximately 8 months now, she has helped me regain my life again, I am the fittest I have ever been and am able to achieve things I never thought possible. Without Cristie's influence and guidance through personal training sessions I would not have achieved this.
Belinda
Empowerment is a strong core value in my life; I have a diagnosed mental illness & since seeing Cristie as my Personal Trainer, she has enabled me to make better health choices in overall wellbeing and fitness, and working toward my goals in all aspects of my life. I now talk to groups in educating living with a mental illness and have had the opportunity to be a keynote speaker at a Federal forum for changes in mental health. Thank you Cristie you have been part of making these dreams happen in my life.
Jacqui
Initially my goal was to lose weight, however, Cristie's advice and guidance helped me to realise that slim often doesn't mean healthy and that fitness and health comes from a good body composition not a low scale weight. The results have been amazing, over 6 months I have significantly reduced my body fat and have lost a total of 31cm from across my body! I can't recommend Cristie highly enough. She is an amazing personal trainer who is friendly, knowledgeable and always strives to push you to your limits and beyond.
