I specialise in helping people who have avoided exercise (or changing their regime/habits) because of complex health, emotional or mental issues; these include chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, PCOS, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression amongst others.
Privacy, confidentiality, trust, patience and understanding are all of paramount importance and I am here most importantly to help you to get through how you are feeling today, as well as assisting you with progressing and working towards a better state in mind and body for the future too.
The first things I’ll ask you when you arrive at my studio for your session are –
“How are you feeling today?” and “What can I do to help you most today?”
My studio is a place where you can feel safe and comfortable to offload how you are feeling, without judgement, and for us to use your time in the best way that will benefit you. If you are feeling strong and energetic we can do a great workout to reinforce and build on your strength and fitness; if you’re feeling flat and ‘yuk’ we can stretch and focus on breathing techniques; or if you just need to off-load and get some things off your chest you can do that, and perhaps do some NLP techniques (neuro-linguistic programming) to help you overcome mental roadblocks.
Your sessions are tailored to you and your needs.
I also work with Allied Health Practitioners including GPs, Specialists, Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Dietitians and Pyschologists to assist with the continued support, rehabilitation and ongoing care of whatever you need help with.
